Silvia and Agathe
Swiss Organizers Academy was founded by two professional home organizers, Silvia Rori and Agathe Chabloz, who work in Geneva and the canton of Vaud.
On a daily basis, they assist individuals who want to declutter their homes, better organize their spaces, prepare for a move, or simply create a home that’s more functional and easier to live in.
This hands-on experience sparked a desire to take things further and share their expertise. With Swiss Organizers Academy, they have created a space dedicated to home organizing, designed for both those who wish to make it their career and the general public.
They explained their philosophy, "It’s not about creating perfect interiors, but spaces that truly reflect the way each person lives."
Silvia and Agathe answered some more questions for us. Through their training programs, workshops, and coaching, they aim to help people discover a different way of living in their homes: one that’s simpler, more functional, and more peaceful.
What inspired you to start Swiss Organizers Academy?
Swiss Organizers Academy was born out of our hands-on experience as home organizers in French-speaking Switzerland. Over the years, we’ve noticed that the profession remains relatively unknown here, even though it addresses very current needs: lack of time, clutter, moving, life changes, mental overload, or simply the desire for a more functional and livable home.
We also met many people who were interested in this profession but didn’t know how to receive serious, structured training in French-speaking Switzerland. So we decided to pool our experience and complementary skills to create a true school, with a professional, practical approach that is deeply rooted in real-world experience.
Our goal is twofold: to train the home organizers of tomorrow, but also to share simple and sustainable organizational methods with the general public.

Have you been working on this idea for a long time, or is it something that came to you recently?
The idea of starting a school developed gradually. We’ve both been working as home organizers for several years, and for a long time we worked independently. As the profession evolved and public interest in home organization grew, we began thinking about how to share our experience. The Swiss Organizers Academy is therefore the culmination of several years of hands-on experience, observation, and reflection.
We didn't want to simply offer a theoretical training program. We wanted to create a very practical program that also incorporated customer relations, methodology, entrepreneurship, and, above all, hands-on experience in the field.
What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome?
Probably raising awareness about a profession that’s still relatively new in French-speaking Switzerland. Many people still think that a home organizer is simply someone who comes to “tidy up closets.” In reality, our work goes much further than that.
We analyze lifestyle habits, household needs, and the challenges people face in their daily lives in order to create systems that are truly tailored to the people who use them.
Home organizing also comes into play during major life events: a move, a separation, the arrival of a child, children leaving home, downsizing, or even a complete reorganization of one’s living space.
Helping people understand the full scope of this profession is part of our mission.
Where do you see this company heading?
Our ambition is to make Swiss Organizers Academy a leading name in home organizing in French-speaking Switzerland.
The professional training program “Becoming a Home Organizer” remains at the heart of our business, but we’re also developing various formats accessible to the general public.
In particular, we’re launching themed workshops on home organization, wardrobe management, decluttering, and life transitions, as well as webinars with experts.
Ultimately, we hope to create a comprehensive ecosystem centered on organization and better living at home, featuring training programs, workshops, online content, and collaborations with various professionals.
What’s your favorite product, and why?
It’s hard to pick just one, but our professional training program, “Becoming a Home Organizer,” obviously holds a special place in our hearts.
It enables people who want to change careers or start a new business to learn a truly professional method.
What we particularly love is the very hands-on nature of the program: participants don’t just stay in a classroom. They also participate in hands-on training days and complete a final project with a real client.
Seeing a participant gain confidence, start practicing, and then go on to work with her own clients is extremely rewarding.
We’re also very passionate about our “Home Reset” workshop, designed for individuals. In just one day, we teach them a comprehensive method for decluttering, organizing, and gradually getting their home back in order.
