How do the exchanges work during the Speed Meeting?
Each exchange lasts 7 minutes: you take a seat around a table, learn about an organization and its mission, and then, when the signal is given, you move on to a new meeting.
It’s a short, dynamic format designed to help you identify volunteer opportunities that resonate with you and inspire you to get involved further. One meeting, a few minutes… and perhaps the start of a meaningful commitment.
The event is open to everyone and free of charge. Registration is not required but is strongly encouraged so we can anticipate the number of participants and facilitate the organization of the event.
The 8th annual Volunteer Speed Meeting, a special evening dedicated to community service. More than 50 organizations will be there to present their volunteer opportunities. Come meet them, talk with them, and enjoy a time of sharing and discovery—and perhaps the start of a new volunteer adventure.

You can stay all evening to meet as many organizations as possible, or drop by for just a little while to make a few targeted connections. The choice is yours.
The event is free, and registration isn’t required but is highly encouraged so we can estimate the number of participants and help organize the event.

* Editor's note: by chance, Lisa has an old photo of the Salle communale de Plainpalais on her wall! She had no idea which building it was taken in until she came across the photo of the Speed Meeting du Bénévolat's photo from last year (top) and was able to compare the indoor architecture, see below!
