Bring your friends and enjoy 50% extra free time with knowitall.ch!

Having tested the water in Yverdon-les-Bains last year, Second World has just opened a new virtual reality gaming center in Ecublens, near to Lausanne.

The largest of its kind in Suisse Romande, the new center has 5 VR cabins and will cater for large groups of people keen to experience multiplayer games.  So, whether you’re looking to organize a birthday party, team building event or just want to have fun with your friends, Second World is the hip new place to be!  Let your imagination take you to the virtual world of escape rooms, laser games or paintball as if you were there in person!

The ultimate multiplayer experience

Whilst the center has a special focus on groups, you can have just as much fun if you simply want to come with a friend and try out some of the experiences for yourself.  However, for all bookings, you do need to reserve a place in advance.

One customer, Aristea Kyriakati told us about her first gaming experience at the center:

"It was my first time trying virtual reality and it was amazing. The fun is definitely guaranteed and the choice of games and experiences at Second World is so vast that you can find something for everyone. I am typically not a gamer but I did spend a considerable amount of time trying everything. The atmosphere of the VR Arcade is also very cool and with a futuristic feel. They have two small robots with which you can play before trying the games. I would definitely recommend and I will be returning very soon."

Why Switzerland?

Asked how Second World came to be set up in Switzlerand, Founder, Franck Milet, told knowitall.ch, “We are a passionate group of entrepreneurs with a desire to bring next level entertainment to the Swiss market. Our founders come from a mixed background of C-level, multinational and start-ups. We started in 2017 and strongly believe that Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality is a game changer in the coming years for gaming, immersive experiences, education and social networking, or even medical purposes.”

In addition to virtual reality, Second World also embraces many other types of new technology, including First Person View robots and drones, 3D printing, and connected wearables.  Indeed, there is a separate "Lab" area at the center that hosts robots and a 3D design and printing facility to entertain guests while they're not playing.

Many different languages are catered for including French, English, German, Italian, Albanian, and Spanish.  The center will appeal equally to adults and children from the age of 8 upwards.
