On 1 September 2025, PRO VELO is launching the Cyclomania cycling challenge around Switzerland right through to the end of September 2025. Cyclomania aims to encourage everyday cycling. In addition, cities and municipalities can use the anonymized cycling data obtained from the challenge to improve their cycle path networks.

Grand-Saconnex cycling challenge
From 1-30 September 2025, the town of Grand-Saconnex has signed up for the Cyclomania challenge. Everyone is invited to take part in the “Grand-Saconnex cycling challenge” and get on their bikes. Cycling in urban areas is a means of transportation that contributes to public health and reinforces environmental policies by reducing pollution. Take part in the challenge and end the summer on your bike! There are many prizes to be won. By participating, you are committing to cycling, in other words, to sustainable mobility in your community.
Meyrin cycling challenge
Cycle, collect points, and win prizes: from 1-30 September 2025, the Cyclomania challenge will take place in Meyrin. Taking part couldn't be easier: download the app, sign up for the challenge, cycle, and collect points. Prizes worth over CHF 10,000 are up for grabs, including a beautiful bike provided by Cycles Behar worth CHF 1,390 as the main prize.
Ride today, save tomorrow challenge: For all other municipalities
Your municipality hasn't organized a Cyclomania challenge? No problem: take part in the national RIDE TODAY, SAVE TOMORROW campaign sponsored by VELOPLUS, collect points, and win great prizes.
The three municipalities or regions with the highest number of participants and the most active cyclists will be rewarded.

DÉFI CYCLISTE LAUSANNE ET OUEST LAUSANNOIS: Bussigny, Chavannes-près-Renens, Crissier, Ecublens (VD), Lausanne, Prilly, Renens (VD), Saint-Sulpice (VD), Villars-Sainte-Croix
Cycling in the city is a healthy, environmentally friendly means of transport that takes up little public space. By participating, you will be promoting cycling, in other words sustainable mobility in your municipality. Not to mention that there are lots of prizes to be won! Thanks to your participation, the mobility data recorded during the campaign will be taken into account when planning future cycling developments.
DÉFI CYCLISTE EST LAUSANNOIS: Belmont-sur-Lausanne, Lutry, Paudex, Pully
To participate, simply download the app, register for the Est lausannois challenge, and cycle to collect points. There are many prizes to be won, including a voucher for two nights at the Hotel Beatus on Lake Thun. In addition, participants contribute to the collection of cycling data through the trips recorded via the app. This data is anonymized and aggregated, and can help with the planning of cycling infrastructure.
DÉFI CYCLISTE MORGIEN: Morges
Morges, a historic town with over 18,000 inhabitants located on the shores of Lake Geneva, charms visitors with its pleasant living environment, lively markets, and wealth of local shops. From September 1 to 30, 2025, it will be participating in the Cyclomania campaign and launching a cycling challenge for its residents. The aim of the campaign is to encourage all residents to use their bikes more in their daily lives in a fun and stimulating way. There are lots of prizes to be won. So take part in the challenge and extend your summer by bike!
DÉFI CYCLISTE NYON: Prangins, Gland, Rolle
Cycling in urban areas is a healthy, environmentally friendly means of transportation that takes up very little public space. Take part in the challenge and finish the summer on your bike! You'll win every time: not only will there be lots of prizes up for grabs, but you'll also be helping to improve cycling infrastructure, as the mobility data recorded during the campaign will be used to inform transport planning.
DÉFI CYCLISTE DE LA RIVIERA: Montreux, Vevey, Blonay-St-Légier, La-Tour-de-Peilz, Villeneuve
The public can take part in the Riviera Cycling Challenge, hop on their bikes, and win numerous prizes.
DÉFI CYCLISTE CHABLAIS AGGLO: Aigle, Bex, Collombey-Muraz, Lavey-Morcles, Massongex, Monthey, Ollon, Saint-Maurice
The idea is to travel as much as possible by bike or on foot. Using the Cyclomania app, you can record your journeys, collect points, and win prizes (first prize is a Gravel bike donated by Fatal Bike). In addition, this data will be used to design infrastructure dedicated to sustainable mobility. This challenge is an opportunity to try out new ways of getting around that are better for your health and the environment.
