The festival Feu Ô Lac takes place along the lakeside in Geneva. Put together by the Department of Security and Sports of the City of Geneva and under the responsibility of the Administrative Councillor and Mayor of Geneva, Marie Barbey-Chappuis.

On the program: animations and entertainment on the quays or on the water, concerts, food and drink zones; a unique drone show of 23 minutes will take place at 22h featuring an astounding 1,350 drones near the jet d'eau (photo above). All the activities and concerts will be free. Click here for a short video of the performance.

On the quays, several festive events are scheduled. Like the tennis village (quai Gustave-Ador), set up in partnership with the Gonet Open. During the four days, two mini tennis courts, a tent for autographs and a speed camera for services will be available to the public.

Near the lake stage, a giant Jass tournament will be held on Sunday, 21 May 2023 between 11h-16h.

Mouettes musicales

The yellow mouette boats cruise between the two banks of the harbor as usual and from 15h-19h musicians will embark with their instruments for an impromptu serenade on the waves. The concerts are free but access to the boats remains the same price with TPG one hour ticket of Fr. 3.-. Seats are limited and cannot be reserved. Concert schedule:

Stand up paddle in costume

Stand up paddle fans, get out your best disguise and come share with us a sporty, friendly and festive moment! On Saturday, May 20th, the City of Geneva is organizing a big gathering of 150 paddlers dressed up, who will leave from Tropical Corner, at the Geneva Beach Nautical Center, towards the Perle du Lac to parade with music along the Wilson quay between 11h-12h.

For those who do not have equipment and would like to participate, 40 boards will be made available free of charge, the first to register will be the first to be served.

A complete pack of Indiana Touring inflatable paddle (with oar and leash) will be drawn as a prize at the end of the crossing from the list of participants.

So look for your best combo of wigs, makeup, hats, masks and costumes and register online to experience this Crossing in drag with us, or join us at Wilson Pier to cheer on this colorful parade.

Soapbox race

A soapbox race going down the Avenue de France in a course full of obstacles with a breathtaking view on the lake. Soapboxes are available on site. This event is organized in collaboration with the soapbox associations of Corsier and Versoix. Saturday, 20 May 2023 rom 10h-15h, departure at the top of the Avenue de France.

Each participant must be kitted for the race:

  • Full face helmet - available on site
  • Long clothes (pants and sweater)
  • Closed shoes (basketball type)
  • Gloves
  • From 7 years old

Rollerskate Party

Put on your skates and come enjoy a friendly and musical atmosphere during a giant Rollerskate party on the Mont-Blanc Bridge, organized by the OLA association. Skate rental will be available on site.

Sunday market

On the occasion of Feu Ô Lac the Sunday market of Léman will move to the Quai Gustave-Ador. This eco-responsible market offers local and seasonal food products. Everything can be tasted on site. Picnic tables will be set up under the trees to welcome you for the Sunday market with the most beautiful view on the lake.

Genève Terroir

In the "Genève Terroir" village, you will find a market where you can buy seasonal fruits and vegetables 100% from Geneva as well as many local products such as honey, oil, vinegar, lentils, saffron, etc. A food truck will offer you local bagels, aperitif planks and spring cocktails to discover exclusively. And finally, the winegrowers' bar will allow you to discover or rediscover some excellent Genevan grape varieties.
