Join this well-known photography competition with your best photo(s) and get exhibited at Galerie Renaissance in the heart of Geneva's beautiful Old Town. All photos submitted to the competition will be exhibited and eligible for votes. 50 jury-selected photos will be printed in a larger size than the others. Five photographers will win a fantastic prize based on public or jury votes. New extended deadline is midnight, 19 January 2026.

Who can join?
This photography competition is open to all photography enthusiasts, amateur or professional.

How does it work

  • Upload your favorite photo(s)
  • Use the largest resolution available for the best results in print. (Max 25MB)

We print & exhibit every photo!

  • You can even take your photos home after the exhibition (unless you sell them at the gallery)
  • The Top 50 Photos are printed in large format on Alu Dibond (~40cm x 60cm)
  • A jury panel of Swiss Photo Club teachers will preselect their favorite 50 photos from all submissions.
  • The remaining photos will be printed in smaller size on quality photo paper: approximately 13cm x 21cm

Visitors will vote on your photos:
During the exhibition, visitors will be able to vote for their top 3 photos from all the submissions.The top 5 photos (1 selected by the jury and 4 based on public votes) will receive fantastic prizes during the closing party of the exhibition.

Are you on Instagram?
We try to feature as many submitted photos as possible on our Instagram via feed or story. Please let us know your Instagram account name when you send your photos to have a chance. And don't forget to follow us to see all the features: @swissphotoclub.

Your submission fee covers the printing of the photos, gallery rental, and event organization.
Every person who joins the competition will get a CHF 40.- discount to use for a future photography class from Swiss Photo Club.

Artist's Corner
For photographers who would like to exhibit their work to the public without participating in the competition, we offer the possibility to rent an “Artists Corner” during the SPC Photo Awards exhibition. 4m total of wall space are available, rentable in 2m increments (take one or both). Showcase your work to hundreds of visitors without the hassle of marketing and promotion. We provide the vernissage and audience; you handle the printing, setup, and takedown of your photos. Only 1-2 spots are available, so don’t wait to sign up. Reserve your wall space here.

Oguzhan (Osan) Altun is a freelance photographer based in Geneva, and one of the founder members of the Swiss Photo Club. He specializes in landscapes, portraits and event photography.

He specializes in landscapes, portraits and event photography.

His passion for life shows in his photos with vibrant colors and an edgy style. He continuously strives to show something special about his subject and push the boundaries every time.

His teaching style combines 10 years of training experience in corporate life with contagious passion for photography and the best training materials available online on the net. He is crisp, to the point, and focused on getting the participant practice what she/he learned.
