The Planet Hut
The first crest of Jura that overlooks the plain displays a number of noticeable tops such as Dôle, Crêt de la Neuve and Mont Tendre. However, between Saint-Cergue and Bassins, this crests lowers in a significant way, letting the second crest to appear.
The result is a quite different landscape from the one, one is accustomed to.
This area of Jura is also less travelled than the vicinity of Saint-Cergue. Therefore, the atmosphere is quite different when doing a snowshoes tour in this area.
