If you see this pink bus with large lettering "Vamos a la playa!" then hop on! You won't have to worry about where to park and can take advantage of the many beautiful local beaches along the Lake Geneva shore.
Every Friday evening through Sundays (until 28 September 2025), the new TPG beach bus line 29 (Ligne des Plages) is servicing the lakeside from Creux-de-Genthod - Gare to Collonge-Bellerive - Bois-Caran!
These buses run between 12 minutes and 30 minutes depending on the different weekend time periods. The beach line is operated with high-capacity articulated buses. You can check out your bus stop timetable by entering it into the search at this link.
Running times
Runs will start on Friday evenings at around 20h45 from Rive until the end of service, at 00h30, also at Rive.
Service will start on Saturdays and Sundays at around 8h20/8h30.
These buses will also run on the Sunday schedule on public holidays (Ascension Day, Whit Monday, August 1 and Jeûne genevois).
This seasonal service gives the public easy access to beaches and bathing pontoons to enjoy water-based leisure activities or spend time by the water.
