The approximately 400 liters of mulled wine produced will be sold during the festival. They will also be used to make various products such as cakes, tarts, meringues, mulled wine truffles, Bénichon mustard, etc., which you can taste during the event. After your visit, you may smell a little smoke, but you will have had a good time in a friendly atmosphere. The production of mulled wine is, of course, the main attraction of the festival. In a dozen cauldrons heated over a wood fire, some 4,000 liters of juice from the pressing of approximately 5,500 kg of pears are cooked for three days and two nights. Add to this a pinch of ancestral know-how, passed down from generation to generation.
