In 1963, during the first edition organized by the “Jeunesse” youth group, the spirit of the festival was already evident. Building on its popular success, a consortium of companies in Russin was formed in 1965 to ensure its continued existence. Over the years, the festival has grown and become what we know today: attracting more than 40,000 visitors, weather permitting, to a small village of around 500 inhabitants.

The committee, led by its president, Ricardo Marques, works hard to maintain the spirit of the festival and meet visitors' expectations, with the following values: “conviviality, sharing, and quality.”

For its 62nd edition, the Harvest Festival will take place on September 20 and 21, 2025. In the bucolic setting of the village of Russin, in the heart of the Mandement vineyards, this year's festival promises once again to be a traditional meeting of town and country for a culinary and oenological discovery of the Geneva terroir.

The Russin Harvest Festival is a true tribute to the Geneva vineyards, their producers, and the quality of their products. As usual, visitors will be able to taste wines made from local grape varieties.

Throughout the weekend, numerous activities are planned in the streets and at the stands. You can discover culinary specialties as well as quality Geneva wines.
