- Nicola: Charlie’s materialistic girlfriend.
- Lauren: an outspoken production worker and potential new love interest for Charlie.
- Harry: a friend and former schoolmate of Charlie
- George: the open-minded factory manager.
- Don: the hostile factory foreman.
- Pat and Trish: production workers, who quickly befriend Lola.
