During six days, the town of Monthey is transformed into an open-air theater, vibrant with colors, sounds, and emotions. From Thursday onwards, the streets fill with mysterious masks, sparkling floats, and the cheerful notes of guggenmusik bands.
The festivities are everywhere: mask competitions bursting with creativity, lively bistros where people put the world to rights, and the famous confetti throwing that covers the town center in a multicolored blanket, like a shower of joy on the amazed passers-by.
