My name is Katrina Syran and as a singer songwriter K-Syran — I’m an award-winning artist, producer ( won over 60 festival awards for my movie ELLIDA streaming on Amazon Prime) and humanitarian based in Geneva.

I’m deeply passionate about using the arts as a force for awareness and change, and I’ve been fortunate to produce a number of international charity productions that combine creativity with purpose.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated closely with Madeleine Rees OBE, whose extraordinary life inspired the film The Whistleblower (in which Vanessa Redgrave portrayed her). Together, we’ve worked on several projects highlighting gender justice and human rights.

My play “Breaking The Silence” that I wrote for HRW won best play at the summit End Sexual Violence In Conflict organised by Angelina Jolie and William Hague .

This year, Madeleine has asked me once again to produce This is Not The Vagina Monologues in Geneva, in support of Gender Justice Practitioners Hub.

The evening will feature storytelling, music, and movement, celebrating resilience, solidarity, and the power of shared experience.

We already have a remarkable cast flying in from London, Paris and of course wonderful Swiss talents.

All proceeds support the Gender Justice Practitioners Hub, advancing equality and justice for all.
