LE LIVRE SUR LES QUAIS/MORGES LITERARY FESTIVAL
From Friday 01 September 2017
To Sunday 03 September 2017

livresquais

From 1st-3rd September 2017 Morges will host 280 French and English speaking writers. Established literary stars and new writers, essayists, poets and translators, authors of crime fiction, travel writing and books for children will give talks, readings and round table discussions – some of them taking the form of a literary cruise.

In its 8th year, the festival takes place in Morges, a picturesque old town on the shore of the Lake Geneva with a view over the Alps, and not far from Lausanne and Geneva. With a selection of cafes, restaurants, and historical buildings Morges is a lovely place to visit and spend some time.

After the phenomenal success of the 2016 festival, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors, this year’s event promises to be even more stimulating.

Come and join us by the lakeside in Morges!

From 9.30am until 7pm. Daily entry for Conferences costs CHF 15.- , (CHF 25.- for the weekend, and CHF 35.- for three days pass) debates cost CHF 15.-,  cruises cost CHF 20.-. Access to docks to meet authors is free of charge.

Easy access to Morges by train from Geneva and Lausanne, by car by autoroute A1.

The GWG (Geneva Writers Group) is a partner this summer!
