Auditions for the Upstage musical production, autumn 2019

In November 2019 we will be staging a musical, to be directed by Robb Correll.

Here is the timeline for the auditions:

Exploratory Meeting and Pre-Audition
Saturday, June 8, 14:00 – 17:00, Zofingerhaus, Alpeneggstrasse 8, Bern
Come to meet the director, hear about how we will work together and bring your ideas about potential musicals. Robb would like to get to know all those who want to audition and to get an idea of the talents they bring. After this meeting, the decision will be made about which musical will be produced.

If you are planning to audition, be prepared to show your acting and singing talents:
• Prepare a monologue
• Prepare a song (if possible, send Robb - robbcorrell at gmail.com - the accompanying music track ahead of the meeting, so he can bring the music on his laptop)

If you want to get involved backstage, come to meet everyone, put your name down and be the audience for our performers.

Auditions
Saturday, June 29,14:00 – 17:00, Zofingerhaus
An afternoon of auditions for the specific roles of the chosen musical. More details will be sent out after June 8.

Call-back auditions
Wednesday, July 3, 18:30 – 21:30, Zofingerhaus
Call-back for final casting.

Production run at the Theater am Käfigturm in Bern
Move-in to theatre and dress rehearsals: 03.11.19 - 06.11.19
Performances: 07.11, 08.11, 09.11, 14.11, 15.11 16.11
