Social Skills and Listening Groups

For the Preteen Group:

When: Tuesdays, 4:45-5:45, February 5, 12, 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2
Where: Le Centre Trampoline, rue Michel Simon 7, Plainpalais
Who: Preteens 8-10 years
Fee: 55.- CHF/ 60-min session

For the Teen Group:

When: Thursdays, 5:45-6:45pm, February 7, 14, 28, March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 4
Where: Le Centre Trampoline
Who: Teens 13-15 years
Fee: 55.-/ 60-min session

Objectives: These groups are based on the Peers and the Children's Friendship Program (developed by UCLA), a parent-assisted program focusing on the development of social skills. Children learn specific skills to succeed in social interaction and communication (i.e., conversational and listening skills, making and keeping friends, handling rejections, arguments and disagreements, being a good host and god sport, etc.). PEERS is an evidence-based program. Topics will be tailored depending on the individual needs of the group.

Groups are limited to five participants, first come, first serve.
