Discover the Vidy-Lausanne Theatre

From 12pm to 2pm

Built by the Swiss artist Max Bill in 1964 for the National Exhibition the same year, the Vidy-Lausanne Theatre is undergoing important renovation and extension construction works. During 2 years, the theatre will offer shows on site but also out-of-town at the Lausanne Opera, Jorat Theatre, Saint François Church, Jorat woods…

Its program provides a wide variety of contemporary creations (theatre, dance, installations, circus, shows for young audience…) from emerging as well as renowned artists from Switzerland and abroad.

Program:

12h – Discover the theatre and its new gathering public space “La Baraka”. Get a look at the construction works.

12h45 – Enjoy a lunch in La Baraka and discover the 2020/21 program for multilingual audiences

14h – End of the event
