Nearly twenty years ago, volunteers from Les Bains had the crazy idea of playing music at dawn on the pier. The audience came. And they came back.

Today, the Aubes Musicales are celebrating their 20th edition. 35 concerts will welcome the sunrise, just as they do every summer, between the lake and the pink light of dawn.

Partygoers, families, strollers, and longtime fans—thousands have gathered there, eyes still heavy with sleep and hearts wide open. Because that’s what Les Aubes is all about: an event unlike any other—free, fleeting, and breathtakingly simple.

Twenty editions of shared beauty, music at twilight, and poetry. And it’s not over yet.
