Evian - Megève - Serre-Chevalier - Courmayeur
The route will highlight the Alps’ greatest mountain passes, following in the footsteps of the legendary routes of yesteryear. For this new edition, several major new features are on the agenda: a stage in Serre-Chevalier on the second day, passes that have never been crossed before—such as the Petit Saint-Bernard—and a completely new finish in Courmayeur, Italy, right next to Mont Blanc.
MERCEDES-BENZ IN THE SPOTLIGHT
This year, after celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Porsche 356 in 2023, we’re heading back to Stuttgart to celebrate the centennial of Mercedes-Benz, founded on June 28, 1926, through the merger of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie. We are delighted to welcome all of the manufacturer’s historic models, as well as those produced up through 1996, with special highlights during the various key moments of the 2026 rally.

The best places to visit during the rally
/// OFFICIAL START IN EVIAN
In June 2026, the town of Evian will host the G7 summit and the start of the Coupe des Alpes. The starting point for the Alps rally on the shores of Lake Geneva, this spa town has a long history with rallying, having hosted Coupe des Alpes starts there in the 1960s. Consider staying there before the start to fully enjoy the car exhibition, the thermal baths, and the renowned golf courses.
/// ISERAN PASS
The highest mountain pass in Europe, the Col de l’Iseran reaches an altitude of 2,764 m. It connects the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys, with the Val d’Isère resort on one side and the picturesque village of Bonneval-sur-Arc on the other. The road was inaugurated in 1937 after eight years of construction.
/// ARRIVAL AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO MONT BLANC
A completely new finish awaits participants in this 37th edition of Coupe des Alpes. The elegant resort of Courmayeur (located at the exit of the Mont Blanc tunnel on the Italian side) and its five-star hotels will welcome the teams for a grand finale. The cable car, which takes passengers as close as possible to Mont Blanc, will be privatized at sunset, and the awards ceremony will take place at the intermediate level for an unforgettable finale.
