• Nicola: Charlie’s materialistic girlfriend.
• Lauren: an outspoken production worker and potential new love interest for Charlie.
• Harry: a friend and former schoolmate of Charlie
• George: the open-minded factory manager.
• Don: the hostile factory foreman.
• Pat and Trish: production workers, who quickly befriend Lola.
