The Genetics of Autism – From Medicine to Neurodiversity

Lecture by Thomas Bourgeron, professor at Paris Cité University and director of the “Human Genetics and Cognitive Functions” research unit at the Pasteur Institute.

Thomas Bourgeron will explain how the discovery of 1,700 genes linked to neurodevelopmental disorders, including 200 associated with autism, sheds light on the mechanisms of synapses and the brain. A lecture to understand and challenge stereotypes.
