• This event is hosted by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Geneva (UPAAG) in collaboration with Evelyn Vargas-Knaebel for the Filipino Cinema Weekend in Geneva.

Pauwi Na is based on a true story that portrays the Filipino’s resilience, faith, hope and love for home and family. It is a tragic-comic story about a poor family that decided to leave the slums in Manila and pedal the hundreds of kilometers on pedicab to return to their hometown province. A series of unfortunate events test their determination and family unity as they make their long and arduous journey to go home.
