SWISS CLASSIC BRITISH CAR MEETING
Saturday 06 October 2018

MorgesCarMeeting

27th Swiss Classic British Car Meeting
Saturday 6 October 2018 in Morges

In Morges, you will find yourself in one of the most attractive towns on the shores of Lake Geneva; in the ornamental Park that hosts the famous tulip festival, or on the picturesque quays. Surrounded by many hundreds of the most beautiful cars and motorcycles in the world.

Here you will spend a wonderful Saturday on the shores of the lake, because the entrance is free for participants and visitors.

The 27th Swiss Classic British Car Meeting will take place on the quays and in the park of the charming medieval town of Morges in Switzerland on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 17:00.

This promises to be another outstanding success for all participants. Last year you, the partici- pants, came very close to 1600 English cars and motorcycles from all over Switzerland, but also from Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and to cap it all there were around 25000 spectators to feast their eyes on your cars.

For the 2018 edition, we hope for perfect weather, just like last year.

Our guest of honour this year is Aston Martin celebrating the 105th anniversary of its crea- tion by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford.

As usual motorcycles will be grouped on the Quay near the port. And the Quays and the Park will welcome all English makes and models as long as they are over 20 years old. We make an exception for very rare cars.

Just like all previous editions this event would not take place without the support of our faithful sponsors whom we thank most warmly.

This event is unique in Switzerland and gives so many enthusiasts and their families to appre- ciate the wide diversity of British automobile production.

The original idea of the creator of this meeting, Keith Wynn, and his companions is to offer the owners of these beautiful creations a one day event during which they can exhibit, and also share their enthusiasm, for their museum-quality vehicles.

The protection of our mechanical heritage is also espoused by the guardians of the beautiful British vehicles.

The success of this event, which has been growing steadily for over 25 years, is due to all the participants and enthusiasts coming together and this is thanks to the support of the Municipa- lity of Morges which reserve for our sole use the Quays and the ornamental Park, and who also provide the support of the Police service, and the Parks and Green Spaces service.

So, if you love beautiful British cars and motorbikes, or if you are fortunate enough to own one, and if you would like to join our friendly atmosphere, come to Morges on Saturday, October 6 between 10am and 5pm and stay for as long as you like.
