Some interesting workshops for kids
The amusement park at Signal de Bougy has put together an interesting programme of workshops for kids this year.
On Wednesday 28 July, the park will be offering two Ateliers L’Eprouvette for those kids who fancy trying out their forensic science skills.  Entitled “Sur les traces de la police scientifique” the workshops will be organized by the public laboratory of Lausanne University and will teach participants how to collect and analyse evidence from a crime scene.
Two further workshops will be organized by the University laboratory on Wednesday 18 August.  Entitled “Voyage microscopique”, the workshops will not only provide participants with the opportunity to view the microscopic world, but they will also get the chance to build their own microscope.
Lasting an hour and a half and costing Fr. 10.- per child, both the above workshops are limited to 12 children (or adults), aged 10 years or above.  Two classes are offered on each day, one at 13h30, the other at 16h00.
Registration is essential at the restaurant reception or by telephoning 021 821 5930.
Between 20-22 October, the park will also be offering its popular bakery sessions.  Suitable for all ages, the workshop will allow participants to bake their own bread and take it home with them afterwards.  Instruction is adapted to the age of those taking part.
There will be three workshops per day at 11h00, 13h20 and 14h00, each costing just Fr. 4.- per person.  Each session will last about 40 minutes, with extra time to be allowed for cooking the bread.  As with the above workshops,  registration is essential.
