LA NUIT EST BELLE - LIGHTS OUT
Thursday, 26 September 2019
This first trans-frontier extinction of public lighting of the Greater Geneva area, the widest organized blackout in Europe, should allow you to admire the stars, the milky way and major planets. This event aims to raise awareness about light pollution by rediscovering our starry sky. The night of September 26th offers ideal astronomical conditions for participants: new moon, milky path visible at sunset, observation of Saturn and Jupiter; let's just hope that the clouds don't make an appearance!
