Do you fancy a relaxing night off, away from the children – perhaps a romantic dinner for two or an evening out with friends in Geneva? Do your kids complain when you get the babysitter in, because they can’t have the same amount of fun as you?
Recognizing the need for both parents and their kids to have an entertaining night off from each other, The Little Gym in Geneva has come up with the perfect solution, which will enable parents to go out on a date whilst their kids amuse themselves at their own party!
On 2 Fridays every month, this popular activity center for kids is now organizing “Parents’ Survival Nights”, where parents can drop off children for 3 hours in the evening, safe in the knowledge that they are having lots of fun with their friends.
Targeted at children aged between 3 and 10 years old, the new survival nights are packed with lots of activities, suitable to the age of the children. Starting at 6.30pm, the evening begins with an hour in the gym, where animators organize themed games and activities. After the gym, the kids break for dinner, and eat their own picnic, provided by parents. Picnics are supplemented with drinks, cookies and fruit supplied by The Little Gym.
After dinner, there is a themed art and craft session, following which kids can return to the gym to let off a bit of steam on the air track. At the end of the evening they are invited to listen to a night-time story, or play quiet table games, so that they are all calm for when their parents pick them up between 9.30pm and 10pm.
The price for the whole evening is Fr. 80.- for Little Gym members or Fr. 95.- for non-members. There is a limited number of places, which must be reserved in advanced, so you are advised to book early.
