WISC and WIAT assessment results present parents and educators with useful information about a child's cognitive strengths and performance challenges, whilst also providing recommendations about how to help them better access the learning environment.

Speaker bio
Dr Jennie Guise is a Practitioner Psychologist with extensive experience of assessing for Specific Learning Difficulties in Primary and Secondary Schools, Further Education, Higher Education and in the workplace. She has co-authored books on assessment and strategies for learning, worked in research, and is now in applied practice as founder and Director of Dysguise Ltd (http://www.dysguise.com). Dr Guise's main interests are in identifying what will help individual learners to progress, and in working collaboratively with educators, and workplaces, to apply that knowledge in practical ways.
