Lots of family tickets to be won, including a camping ticket for 4 worth Fr. 248.-!

An exciting new program of activities and events is being planned for children and their families at this year’s Lilibiggs Festival Pour Enfants in Bougy-Villars, Vaud.

Sponsored by Migros, the festival will take place over 2 days at the popular Signal-de-Bougy park, on 18 and 19 July, 2015. This year’s event will feature lots of new activities for children and their parents and will draw on the support of many local artists and musicians to offer entertainment ranging from music, magicians, and circus presentations, through to story-telling, a juggling class, Tai Chi lessons, and a special workshop focusing on the 5 senses. The Surfrider Foundation will also be present with lots of great ideas on how to keep beaches, lakes and rivers clean. In addition, there will a special games area focusing on traditional, wooden board games, the likes of which many young kids will never have seen before!

On Saturday evening the Boy and Girl Scouts of the Rolle/Aubonne group will enchant the younger children with a variety of tricks and songs, whilst their parents get the chance to relax with some wine-tasting. The evening will be rounded off with a screening of the Charlie Chaplin film “The Kid”. You can view the full entertainment program on the Lilibiggs website by clicking here.

Throughout the festival, food will be provided in the recently renovated restaurant at Signal-de-Bougy, a favorite with many local families who visit the park regularly with their kids. Indeed all of the activities normally available to families at the park will be open during the period of the festival, including Minigolf, Miniland, tree climbing and table tennis. Indeed Lillibigs ticket holders can expect special deals on some of the activities, such as "Buy one token, get one free" at Miniland, or two entries for the price of one at Minigolf.

One option, which has proved popular at many Lilibiggs festivals, including other locations throughout the Swiss-German part of Switzerland, is the possibility to camp overnight between the two days of the festival. At Signal-de-Bougy, the organizers are proposing 2 camping packages: Camping Familial and Camping Familial Deluxe. Priced at Fr. 69.-/person (see website for family options), the standard package includes a night in your own tent, the day program on Saturday, the full evening program, a special "wake-up" program on Sunday morning, as well as the full day program again.  There is also a 20% discount on this package for Cumulus Card holders, subject to conditions indicated on the website.

The deluxe package is ideal for those who would just like to turn up and relax in a tent already set up for them. This package, which costs Fr. 495.-, covers the same performances as the standard package and is valid for up to 6 people sleeping in a tent.

For those preferring to visit just for the day, there is a single entry ticket for adults and children from the age of 3, priced at Fr. 19.-/person. This covers all the activities and performances scheduled between 11h-17h on Saturday 18 July and between 11h-17h30 on Sunday 19 July, but not the special morning and evening programs that have been created solely for the campers. Family tickets are also available for 3, 4, or 5 people. Click here for more information.

All Lilibiggs ticket holders will get free parking during the festival.
