all for kidsIf you’re an expat and have lived in this region for long, you will find that there are just some products that you simply cannot buy over here.  When it comes to finding unusual and creative presents for your children, for example, many of you will hanker after those fun but educational toys and books that you only seem to be able to get back home in the UK or USA.

Actually, they are not so difficult to come by – you just need to know where to look!  Nine years ago, American Robin Bognuda set up an online toy store in Switzerland that would allow parents here to buy, at the click of a few buttons, items such...

as craft kits, children’s books, baby items and educational toys.  The store has been so successful, that the business is now thriving with over 1000 different products in stock.

Visitors to the site are invited to browse the new SPECIALS OF THE MONTH section, where you will find incredible deals, including some items for free!  This section is exclusive to online customers.  Just remember to return regularly as the offers will change each month!

To help you find your products quickly, the website is clearly organized into 8 main categories: Babies & Preschool, Fun & Games, Crafts & Making Things, Multimedia, Gift Ideas, Books, Learning Fun and Bargain Basement.

If you don’t like shopping online, you can also request an All For Kids catalog be sent to your home.  Orders can be placed by email, phone, fax or mail. There is also a recently refurbished showroom in S. Antonino (Ticino), which is open every day by appointment.  So if you are in the area and prefer to see the products first hand, you can pop in anytime. Whatever suits your shopping habits!

Robin says, “Whilst most of my customers live in Switzerland, many of the orders are placed by overseas relatives of children living here.  With Easter coming up, I expect to receive many orders from grandparents looking to buy something a little different for their grandchildren, without having to worry about international shipping. Presents can be gift wrapped if required, but if they’re not sure what to buy then they can purchase a gift certificate instead.”

She adds, “We also have a popular Birthday Club that many parents have signed up for, which allows them to receive discounts and special offers throughout the month their child was born.”
