As the ski season approaches, it's time to start thinking about getting your skis serviced. Don't leave it to the last minute - if you do, you'll probably find yourself standing in endless ski maintenance queues whilst your friends are out on the slopes having fun.
To make the job easier for you, Leave it to Me and Williams Services have come together to offer skiers from the Geneva area a unique and personalised experience.
Leave it to Me is a Geneva-based company that, amongst many other things, offers a concierge service to help busy individuals and families spend time on the things they really want to do. Also based in Geneva, Williams Services installs satellites and TVs and offers handyman services too.
Making the most of their respective business skills, Leave it to Me and Williams Services have created a professional pick-up and drop-off Ski Service that will save you time.
Here’s how it works:
- Book your appointment using the online form!
- Choose exactly what you need – if you don't see your combination, make your own!
- You will be offered an approximate pick up time on the Friday of your choice.
- Your skis will be tagged with your name, address, email and telephone number.
- Your skis or snowboards will be transported with the best of care to the ski service provider.
- 1 week later your skis will be dropped off - you will be notified the day before with an apporoximate drop off time.
- Payments to be made by cash or credit card on delivery.
The prices are not cheap but don't forget that they include a full service (belt grind to remove small scratches and oxidized material; P-Tex to fill gouges and scrapes; stone grind to flatten and embed structure; edge set, sharpen and polish; and hot machine wax), plus the pick-up and drop-off service, which you will really appreciate! There are discounts for multiple items, so it can be quite attractive to get your work colleagues onboard and have 10 or 20 pairs serviced at the same time.
