Nord Anglia Education and The Juilliard School have announced the formation of The Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Program, a multifaceted collaboration involving an innovative arts education curriculum for students in grades K-12.

As one of Nord Anglia's 35 international schools throughout the world, La Côte International School has been selected to be one of the inaugural schools in the program. From September 2015, students at the Aubonne-based school will benefit from a unique performing arts curriculum jointly developed by Nord Anglia Education and The Juilliard School.

Principal, Wendy Ellis, told knowitall.ch, "The curriculum has been designed to inspire our students with artistic ambitions and to enrich the creative skills of all students beyond the arts. It will give each student a “Creative Key” to unlock their imagination and creativity which is useful in all types of learning and in all walks of life."

To launch this exciting innovative program, La Côte International School is hosting an introductory event, at the school on the evening of Friday, 24 April. This will include an explanation of the program and a short performance from Armando Braswell (soloist with Ballet Basel), a Juilliard alumni, as well as performances by the school's own students. Anyone wishing to attend the event should email the school directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Founded in 2008, La Côte International School is a co-educational, English-language day school that welcomes students between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. The school moved to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus in Aubonne in September 2014. Education follows the English National Curriculum in the early and primary years and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes in the secondary section.

The Juilliard School, founded in 1905, is a world leader in performing arts education. Located at Lincoln Center in New York City, Juilliard offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in dance, drama, and music (classical, jazz, historical performance, and vocal arts). Currently more than 800 artists from 44 states and 42 foreign countries are enrolled at The Juilliard School.
