5 double tickets to be won for the English Stand Up comedy show on Friday, 5 December!
There will be 3 English Stand Up shows at the 25th edition of the Montreux Comedy Festival, which takes place this year between 4 and 8 December.
And luckily for knowitall.ch readers, the organizers have, once again, kindly offered us 5 double tickets for the first of these shows, which will run over 3 nights on 5, 6 and 8 December, 2014.
Featuring the crème de la crème of English stand-up comedians, this year’s performances will see appearances from the Egyptian Hashem El Garhy, the South African Loyiso Gola, the Frenchman François Yacine Bejhousse (performing in English of course!), as well as the American Mike Lebowitz, winner of the 2013 English Comedy Contest, and a handful of comedians from the Middle East.
Priced at Fr. 25.- per person, and Fr. 20.- for students, all three shows will begin at 20h30 in the 2m2c Montreux Convention and Music Centre in Montreux. On 7 December, 6 finalists from the UK, US and South Africa will also compete in the final of the English Comedy Contest, providing the audience with a rare opportunity to see some of the best English-speaking stand-up comedians performing together on one evening.
To give yourself a chance of winning one of the double tickets (worth Fr. 50.-) for the first English show taking place on 5 December, simply fill in this form and let us know who won the 2013 English Comedy Contest. The competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 2 December, 2014. Just one entry per person allowed. The first 5 names to be pulled out of the digital hat on 3 December, will receive their double tickets electronically by email. The winners' names will also be posted at the bottom of this article.
